About This Stage

What does KS2 Mathematics cover?

Our KS2 Mathematics programme covers number fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving across Years 3 to 6. We follow our structured MaThesis programme aligned to the KS2 curriculum.

Is KS2 Maths relevant for students at IB, American, or CBSE schools?

Yes. The core maths skills developed at KS2 — extended problem solving, reasoning, fluency — are required across all major curricula. Our programmes build these transferable skills regardless of your child's school framework.

Our Sessions

How many students are in a KS2 Maths session?

A maximum of four students per tutor, with an average of two. KS2 is the first stage where we introduce slightly larger groups, but sessions remain small enough for every child to receive genuine individual attention.

How often should my child attend?

Most KS2 students attend one to two sessions per week. Students in Upper KS2 preparing for secondary school transitions or entrance assessments often benefit from two sessions per week.

My child is in Year 6 — is it too late to start?

Not at all. Year 6 is actually one of the most impactful times to start. Securing strong foundations before secondary school begins makes the transition significantly smoother — and much less stressful for your child.
