A maximum of four students per tutor, with an average of two. KS2 is the first stage where we introduce slightly larger groups, but sessions remain small enough for every child to receive genuine individual attention.

Most KS2 students attend one to two sessions per week. Students in Upper KS2 preparing for secondary school transitions or entrance assessments often benefit from two sessions per week.

Yes — this is one of the primary goals of our Upper KS2 programme. We focus on building the independent thinking, extended reasoning, and problem-solving skills that secondary school demands from day one.

KS2 sessions build the foundational skills that underpin entrance assessments. If your child is specifically preparing for 7+ or 11+ selective school entry, we also offer a dedicated Entrance Preparation programme — ask about this at your free assessment.

Progress is tracked every session and parents receive regular written updates. At KS2 we also provide termly progress reviews so you always have a clear picture of where your child stands and what comes next.
