Our KS1 English programme covers reading, writing, spelling, and grammar through our structured EngLit programme. Sessions build core literacy skills that transfer across any curriculum.

Yes. The foundational literacy skills developed at this age — reading comprehension, writing mechanics, vocabulary — are universal. Our programmes build these core skills regardless of which curriculum your child's school follows.

A maximum of two students per tutor. Most sessions run with one or two children.

Once or twice a week is typical for KS1. We recommend starting with one session per week and reviewing after the first month.

We align with KS1 curriculum frameworks but teach through our own EngLit programme. Sessions support what your child is learning in school while building deeper understanding that classroom time alone cannot always provide.

We start with a baseline assessment to identify exactly where your child is. From there we address gaps systematically — your child catches up, builds confidence, and moves forward without the pressure of a classroom setting.

We track what your child has covered and how confidently they have grasped it every session. Parents receive regular honest updates — not vague reassurances.

The earlier the better. KS1 is where core literacy habits form. Addressing gaps now is significantly easier than trying to fill them at KS2 or beyond.
