Curriculum & Assessment
EYFS has no formal tests — we focus on development and readiness
The EYFS framework does not use formal exams or national curriculum tests. Instead, practitioners observe children and assess their progress against the EYFS early learning goals. At Improve ME, we use similar approaches: we observe, note progress, and share updates with parents so you know how your child is developing in number, shape, phonics, and communication.
Our goal is to ensure your child is confident and ready for the transition to Key Stage 1 — where more structured learning begins in Year 1.
